In Product Settings, we set everything that is related to our product/model. Product Group, Model Group, Product Model and Assembly Groups and Stations
To open Product Settings, go to side navigation and under Job Scheduling, click Product Settings
Product Settings should look like this:
There are currently 5 views in Product Settings: Adding Product Groups, Model Groups, Product Models, Assembly Groups, and Assembly Stations
In a Product Group, there can be multiple Model Groups. In a Model Group, there can be multiple Product Models. In an Assembly Group, there can be multiple Assembly Stations
Each items have their own different views where all of their entries are fully editable as long as the use has permission to do so
User can create, delete and edit any entries added in the list
Creating a Product Group
A Product Group is the foundation of the hierarchy between Product Groups, Model Groups and Product Models. It is the one that you create first out of the three
To create one, go to Add Product Model tab
Fill in the required fields to add a Product Group and click Save Product Group
Creating a Model Group
A Model Group is a subgroup of Product Group, and is a parent of Product Models
To create one, go to Add Model Group tab
Fill in all the required fields and click Save Model Group
Creating Product Model
Product Model is what we call the products/model for our company. It is what we produce/assembly/create to sell to our customers and is a child of Model Group
To create a product model, go to Product Model tab
Unit cost will be the cost of the model all-in-all to create
