Before you can upload your excel file of orders, you need to map a template that matches your excel file formatting so that the system can read and input your data
To do this, go to Order Templates tab by clicking it
The view should look like this:
Click the New Template button, it should redirect you to this page:
Upload the file you want to use as a template. The Template Name field would be the name saved for your template, and Header Row field would be the row number where your column headers are. In the example below, the header row is the highlighted row, which is 1
After filling in the details, click Map Template. This should show more fields to customize.
Database Field shows what available data can be inputted in the system, while the Data Type shows what data type they need to be in (integer, date, etc...)
Select the proper data in respect to your column field from the dropdown list
If there are no conflicts or errors with the data, this pop-up should appear:
If you click Import again from CRM page, this window should appear with your template instead:
Please note that it is important to map all the data provided by the template mapping dropdown list. This will help avoid having conflicts in missing data in the system
Alternatively, if you have no existing template yet, you can click the Import button on the top right. If you have no templates yet and you clicked Import, a pop-up will show:
Clicking Proceed will redirect you to Template Mapping page, where you can set your own mapping that fits the format of your own Excel file
